Verification

Verified

The "Verified" badge marks an organisation or business that the Find Polonia editorial team has confirmed as a real, active part of the Polish-Australian community. It helps readers quickly recognise trusted sources of information, services and support. Organisations and businesses have slightly different criteria — described below.

Organisations — criteria

  • Peak community bodies (e.g. RNPwA and its state member organisations).
  • Organisations recognised by the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Sydney or the Embassy.
  • Long-established Polish institutions — clubs, parishes, Saturday schools, scouting units with a documented history.
  • Other organisations vetted by the Find Polonia editorial team based on publicly available evidence of activity.

Businesses — criteria

  • Polish-owned businesses operating for 5+ years.
  • Businesses specifically endorsed by a verified Polish organisation (e.g. a parish, club, Saturday school, peak body).
  • Businesses featured by Polish-Australian community media (newspapers, radio shows, podcasts).

What verification is not

This is editorial verification, not legal certification. The badge does not imply endorsement of any specific service, opinion, or position an organisation may hold, and is not a substitute for due diligence when choosing a service provider. Find Polonia does not audit the quality of services, finances, or internal policies of verified organisations.
